Bespoke ‘Gealach’ (Moon Light) Dried Flower Wreath

beautiful bespoke dried flower and grass wreath on a handmade U.K grown willow frame. Made to reflect the beautiful light of the Moon, on a clear night. Gealach, meaning Moon Light.

The ever-changing moon and its light, was an object of mystery and superstition. The old Celtic druids placed great emphasis on the moon and arranged their calendar by it.

The waxing moon aligns with growth, the full moon of blossoming beginnings and the waning moon with the attainment of wisdom and entering rest.

Harvest grasses have been used with sage and the warmth of the Helichrysum, Straw flower. Delicate flowers of the rice flower, symbolising the everlasting and immortal

Need to Know.

All the Flowers have been Grown in the U.K with no insecticides or fungicides and have been air dried to preserve pigments

Small, 20-25cm.

The Dried Wreath may look slightly different to the one photographed, due to the drying process, & types of flowers, pigments can vary.

Your flowers will arrive, wrapped in acid free tissue paper & recycled brown paper used to pad out your delivery. Occasionally I will use bubble wrap which again has been recycled from previous deliveries to me.

Upon opening your dried flowers or wreath, open carefully. Occasionally your flower bouquets will arrive a little flat from being packed in a box for postal reasons. Gently tease them apart and cut the string if you wish and arrange in a vase.

Very occasionally damage can occur in postage as dried flowers are difficult to post and are fragile. If that happens please get in touch through hello@deborahmaire.co.uk

Care: Try to keep your flowers and wreaths out of direct sunlight as the direct light can bleach pigments over time. Keep them in a dry spot, ideally away from areas that may get damp or attract condensation, like bathrooms and kitchens.
